In this poster, I will show the effect of secondary parameters in the microfluidic setups, in particular how the coiling of the tube and its relation to the flow rates and different reactor geometries, on particle synthesis. First we discussed the flow patterns in different tubes. Then the dean numbers for different setups were established, and the size, size distribution, and morphology of particles obtained under different reactor geometries were evaluated to fine-tune these characteristics. I will show three different reactor geometries, straight, coils and serpentines, and the differences will be rationalized.
